HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY!

Last 17th March, our school celebrated Saint Patrick's Day. Our students, most of them wearing green, had the opportunity to participate in fun and engaging activities on this "green " day: rainbows, cards, leprechauns, shamrocks and posters were displayed in the hall. In the library you could find books written by the most representative Irish authors such as Oscar Wilde, James Joyce, Bram Stoker and Jonathan Swift. In addition, some mischievous leprechauns who looked like our language assistants, Annalise and Kevin, visited our school at break. Have a look at the photos!!!

ESCAPE ROOM

Just before Christmas holidays, our Arts teacher, José Mª Guillén, organized a fascinating activity for 1st ESO students : ESCAPE ROOM!. With Kevin and Annalise's help(our language assistants), the students had to discover clues, solve puzzles and carry out a number of tasks in order to "escape the room". One of the most important aspects is that students must work in a team if they want to achieve their goal. It was a really challenging adventure and a load of fun :)

THE EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES AT IES NERVION

The European Day of Languages is back to IES Nervión. Last year, due to sanitary conditions, we were no able to carry out the activities that we have traditionally organized to celebrate one of our greatest treasures:languages.
